TRAININGS FOR EARLY EDUCATORS
High-Quality Training Options Designed for Early Educators
Online Training
High-quality online trainings are available through Eager-to-Learn, a program of Child Care Aware of Minnesota, and Think Small Institute.
Online courses are available in both self-paced and instructor-led formats. Self-paced courses give students the flexibility to learn on their own time and at their own speed. Instructor-led courses offer additional support and discussion opportunities with an early education professional.
Visit the Develop website to search and register for online trainings.
In-person Training
Child Care Aware of Minnesota offers a variety of in-person trainings at a wide range of venues across the state through our training delivery agencies: Milestones, Think Small, and Pine Technical and Community College. Learn directly from a qualified trainer and engage in active discussion with other child care educators. Training options include one-time events and multi-session events.
To learn more about in-person trainings and the sessions being offered in your area, contact the Professional Development Advisor at your local Child Care Aware of Minnesota agency. You can also search and register for trainings on Develop.
Online trainings seem to work best for our staff as we are able to build them into their scheduled work day rather than taking time off to travel for a training.
Classes I have taken have been good, taught at a level that is both engaging and educational. I always walk away with a few new ideas.
