Well-trained providers are better prepared to help children learn and grow. We offer online and face-to-face training opportunities and credentials to support your ongoing professional development journey.

Eager-to-Learn
Eager-to-Learn online trainings are multi-week, teacher-led courses that utilize message board discussions and weekly live chat discussions. Students review assigned course materials and participate in message board discussions. Mandatory live chat discussions are scheduled for one evening during the week and elaborate on the content covered.
Anytime Learning
Anytime Learning online trainings are self-paced courses designed to give students the flexibility to learn on their own time and at their own speed. Students follow interactive presentations that feature an easy-to-use control panel with audio and video support. Learning checkpoints and quizzes throughout the presentations help students stay engaged and reinforce the information.
National CDA
The nationally recognized Child Development Associate (CDA) credential offers valuable knowledge about working with children and helping them reach their full potential. It is often a first step into a career teaching and caring for young children.
Director Credential
The online Director’s Credential offers valuable information in the areas of administration, supervision/management, and leadership. It is offered in collaboration with the Minnesota Association for the Education of Young Children (MnAEYC), is recognized by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and meets all the director training requirements for NAEYC Accreditation.
Face-to-Face Training
We offer a variety of face-to-face trainings at a wide range of venues throughout the state. Learn directly from a qualified trainer and engage in active discussion with other child care professionals. Training options include one-time events, multi-session events, and credential programs.
