Foreign Credential Evaluation Scholarships help early childhood educators who have completed their high school or higher education coursework outside of the United States pay for the evaluation of educational transcripts (up to $550). Scholarships can be paid directly to the agency performing your evaluation, or you can apply to be reimbursed for an evaluation you already paid for.

Before applying, gather the following documentation:

1. A price quote from a translation agency that partners with Child Care Aware of Minnesota or a detailed receipt from an accredited transcript evaluation agency.
2. Your Develop Learning Record
   • Your Develop Learning Record must include:
     • A Current Membership
     • Employment or volunteer status at a Minnesota early childhood program that is verified (unless participating in Empower to Educate)
